Bed was comfortable Pool
Location..... Unfortunately there was road construction and road closures so difficult to locate
Quiet faciility. Perfect location. Also on the Freedom Transit bus stop. Would be great for large groups and conventions. Didn't have time for the pool area which accomodates many with surroundings for non swimming guests. Our King room also had a couch which might have converted for sleeping. Very roomy
Knew it didn't have continental breakfast.
It was quiet, not in the crowded, noisy part of town, and it was safe. The staff was responsive and courteous. Parking was easily accessible to our room (my husband is partially disabled). Had a shuttle to the town and the attractions that allowed you to leave your car at the hotel, if you wanted to.
It's tired and overdue for an update. Seems to be stuck in a 60's or 70's time warp, design-wise. Few outlets in the room that weren't already in use by lamps (for charging hand held devices). Carpets need cleaning. Something, we don't know what, caused an allergic reaction in my husband that only happened when we were in the room. Probably could have used a good cleaning, maybe.
Close to Gettysburg np, lots of space in the room, nice swimming pool; indoor, but looks like an outdoor pool because of the high ceiling, good deli (if open).
No breakfast possibility on Monday when we were there. Price might be a bit high for the actual service/room you get.
I had a great time at the Eisenhower Hotel. The staff was friendly and helpful at checkin. I enjoyed the room service on Saturday morning for breakfast. The room was clean and comfortable. I had a view of the pool but did not get a chance to enjoy it. I will come back again. Thankyou for a great time.
Although it's not a new facility, things seemed to be well maintained and clean. The staff was very nice and knowledgeable about the area.
The hotel was dirty, untended and an offence to the name Eisenhower. The bed linens were cheap and the room smelled. Window draperies were hanging off their hooks and the carpet should be fumigated. In our years of traveling, this stay goes down as one of the worst and I will warn everyone traveling to the Gettysburg area to steer clear of the Inn. It ranks several degrees below an overused Motel 6! If the Eisenhower historic property is involved, they should hang their heads in shame!! John j Loeper
That it was very convient and very available to everything needed like resturants. The pool and sauna and jaccuzi was very nice and whenever I get the chance to stay there I will.
The hot tub and the saunas were closed. The pool was also very cold. We went there to relax and wanted to spend time in the hot tub.
Hospitality and edficiency
None of the amenities shown are offered during the offseason.
rooms were dark; conference activities/services were insufficiently staffed; lounge and restaurant had limited hours for a place that's so far away from anything else
The only thing I liked was it was close to liberty ski resort and outlet mall.
The jacuzzi and sauna was out of order , also there was no hot water when we came back from skiing , and also when we used the swimming pool , I had to call the front desk a couple of times for this problem . We had to shower the next morning.
